מוזיקאים מהתזמורת הסימפונית של ברלין הגיעו לישראל לסדרת קונצרטים בפני ניצולי שואה ביוזמת עמותת יד לעזרה ישראל
קבוצת של שבעה נגנים מהתזמורת הסימפונית של העיר ברלין הגיעה בימים אלה לישראל ומקיימת סדרת קונצרטים ייחודית בהתנדבות בפני ניצולי שואה החיים בישראל.
מטרת הקונצרטים המתקיימים בכל רחבי הארץ היא לשמח ולעודד את ניצולי השואה ולאפשר להם ליהנות ממוזיקה איכותית כמו גם להוציאם מביתם ומבדידותם. הקונצרטים בליווי כינורות וצ’לו כוללים יצירות של מלחינים מערביים ידועים ונעימות ושירים קלאסים מהתרבות היהודית. התזמורת הסימפונית הידועה של ברלין החלה את פעילותה בספטמבר 1967.
את סדרת הקונצרטים יוזמת ומארגנת עמותת יד לעזרה ישראל ((Helping Hand Coalition . העמותה פועלת לסייע לניצולי שואה ברחבי הארץ במגוון פעולות ואמצעים ובהם פרויקט בתים חמים המופעל בכ- 25 רשויות מקומיות ומאפשר לניצולי שואה ליהנות מארוחה חמה ומפגש חברתי, יבוא מכולות עם פרטי לבוש המחולקים חינם לניצולי השואה, חלוקת תלושי מזון לשימושם של ניצולי השואה, תיעוד זיכרונותיהם של ניצולי השואה, מוקד עזרה רפואית, ייזום חגיגות בר מצווה לניצולי שואה שלא זכו לחגוג זאת בילדותם, סיוע והשתתפות במצעד החיים ועוד עשרות פרויקטים נוספים ובהם בית שלום בקיסריה – בית המשמש כמקום מפגש לעשרות חוגים, הרצאות, סדנאות, שיעורים ומפגשי לימוד, מופעי אומנות, מוסיקה ותרבות במהלך כל השנה לעשרות אלפי ניצולי השואה החיים ברחבי ישראל.
לוק גשיורובסקי, מנהל עמותת יד עזרה לישראל מסר כי המופעים והקונצרטים האינטימיים מתקיימים בפני קהל מצומצם של בין 80 – 200 ניצולי שואה, שמובאים למופעים באוטובוסים מיוחדים. הקונצרטים נערכים במספר מועדוני קשישים ומרכזי תרבות עירוניים ברחבי הארץ ובהם קונצרט בירושלים ביום שישי הקרוב, קונצרטים שהתקיימו במהלך השבוע בערים חיפה, בנתניה, בחדרה, בקיסריה ובערים נוספות. לדברי גשיורובסקי המוזיקאים הגרמנים שהגיעו לישראל מתרגשים מאוד מהמפגשים עם ניצולי השואה ורואים בכך תרומה וסיוע לאיכות חייהם של הניצולים. בסיום כל אירוע מתקיים שיח עם הניצולים.
יד לעזרה ישראל הוקמה על ידי הפילנתרופ ואיש העסקים אנדרי גשיורובסקי שיחד עם צוות עובדים מקצועי ומסור פועל בכל רחבי הארץ במגוון פרויקטים שכל מטרם סיוע לניצולי השואה החיים בארץ. העמותה פועלת בשיתוף פעולה עם משרדי ממשלה וגופי סיוע רבים ומטרתה לעזור, במיוחד במקרים הומניטריים, לניצולי השואה החיים עמנו ובקרבנו.
העמותה החליטה לאחרונה לחשוף את פעילותה במטרה לאפשר לניצולי שואה נוספים החיים ברחבי הארץ ליהנות משרותיה המגוונים ובמטרה לשפר את איכות החיים של ניצולי השואה בגילם המבוגר באזור מגוריהם ברחבי הארץ.

Musicians from the Berlin Symphony came to Israel for a series of concerts for survivors of the Holocaust initiated by Helping Hand Coalition for Israel.
A group of seven musicians from the Berlin Symphony Orchestra has just arrived in Israel and is conducting a unique concert series of volunteers for survivors of the Holocaust living in Israel.
The purpose of concerts held throughout the country is to delight and encourage survivors of the Holocaust and to allow them to enjoy quality music as well as to take them out of their home and isolation. The concerts accompanied by violins and cello include works by well-known and pleasant western composers and classical songs from Jewish culture. The well-known Berlin Symphony Orchestra began its activities in September 1967.
The concert series is initiated and organized by the Helping Hand Coalition. The association works to assist Holocaust survivors across the country in a variety of actions and measures, including the distribution of food coupons for survivors of the Holocaust, documenting survivors’ memoirs, call center for help, initiating bar mitzvah celebrations for survivors of the Holocaust who did not celebrate it as a child, assisting and participating in life parade and dozens of other projects including the Shalom House in Caesarea and a meeting for ten classes, lectures, workshops, classes and study sessions, art performances, music and culture throughout the year, tens of thousands of survivors living around Israel.
Luke Gasiorowski, director of Helping Hand Coalition Israel, said that the intimate performances and concerts are held by a limited audience of between 80 and 200 Holocaust survivors, who are brought to shows on special buses. The concerts take place at a number of senior clubs and urban centers around the country, including a concert in Jerusalem this Friday, concerts during the week in Haifa, Netanya, Hadera, Caesarea, and other cities. According to Gasiorowski, the German musicians who came to Israel are very excited about their encounters with survivors of the Holocaust and see this as contributing and helping the lives of survivors. At the end of each event, a conversation is held with the survivors.
Andre Gasiorowski, chairman of Helping Hand Coalition, together with a professional and dedicated staff, works across the country on a variety of projects aimed at helping survivors of the Holocaust living in Israel. The association works in collaboration with many government ministries and aid agencies, and aims to help, especially in humanitarian causes, the survivors of the Holocaust living with and among us.
The association recently decided to unveil its activities in order to enable more survivors of the Holocaust living across the country to enjoy its diverse services and to improve the quality of life of survivors in their older age in their area of residence throughout the country.
