A significant step toward regional peace took place at the Knesset during the meeting of the Parliamentary Lobby for Promoting Peace and Normalization between the State of Israel and Lebanon, held under the sponsorship of the Government of Israel and Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar.
The session was chaired by Knesset Member Dr. Akram Hasson, who emphasized that peace is the brave choice and the right path for the future of both peoples.
Among the participants was Dr. Andre Gasiorowski, Chairman of Helping Hand Global Forum, who joined approximately 40 delegates supporting this historic initiative.
The event brought together ministers, members of the Knesset, church leaders, ambassadors, representatives of several countries, and Lebanese and Israeli citizens from different religious communities, all united by a common message: the time has come to end the conflict and build a future of peace between Israel and Lebanon.
A highlight of the meeting was the participation of the Ambassador of the Republic of China, who expressed his country’s support for efforts to achieve lasting peace and stability in the Middle East.
This gathering may have been only the first stitch in the fabric of peace, but every lasting journey begins with a single step. Together, participants expressed hope that dialogue, mutual respect, and courage can open the door to a new chapter for the region.
“If the people want to live one day, fate must respond.”
